Privacy Policy

Who runs the site

ReviewExpo (https://www.reviewexpo.com) is run by the ReviewExpo Editorial Team from the United States. The site publishes information about cameras and audio-video equipment. For privacy questions or requests, write to privacy@reviewexpo.com.

What the site does not do

ReviewExpo does not sell anything, and it has no user accounts, paid memberships or newsletter. Comments are turned off on all posts and pages. At the moment the site does not show display ads, and it sets no analytics cookies of its own.

Information we receive

The web host keeps standard server logs. These record an IP address, the browser type and the pages requested. The logs exist for security and troubleshooting, and they are kept for as long as the host’s routine log handling requires.

If you use a contact form, the message you write is sent by email to the editorial inbox. We use it to read and answer you, and the site does not use the form data for anything else. Please do not include sensitive personal details in a message.

We also use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search. It does not place cookies on readers’ browsers.

Cookies and affiliate links

The site itself sets no analytics cookies. Many pages include affiliate links to Amazon. When you click one, the store or network may set its own cookie to credit the referral. Those cookies are controlled by Amazon, and its own privacy policy explains what it collects and how it is used. Our Affiliate Disclosure describes the arrangement.

Third-party links

Pages link to stores, manufacturers and other sites. ReviewExpo does not control them, and this policy does not apply once you leave the site. Read the privacy notice of any site you visit.

Children

ReviewExpo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us a message, let us know at the privacy address and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site stays readable if you do. Depending on where you live, U.S. state privacy laws may give you rights to ask what personal information a business holds about you, to request that it be deleted, or to correct it. To make a request, email privacy@reviewexpo.com and describe what you are asking for. Because the site keeps so little, there may be little to find, but we will look.

Security

We rely on our web host’s security measures to protect server logs and email. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check it from time to time. Other terms of using the site are in the Terms of Service.
